Are you seeking an exciting opportunity in the education sector? Do you have a passion for supporting students aged 4-11?

We’re looking for an enthusiastic intervention assistant to join a vibrant school in Stoke-on-Trent, rated Good by Ofsted. This immediate-start role focuses on 1:1 support for a student with additional SEN needs, particularly in managing their behavior in a classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students facing behavior challenges.
  • Engage in pastoral interventions for both SEN and SEMH students.
  • Collaborate with the school SENCO to create effective behavior support plans.
  • Ensure safeguarding protocols are upheld within the school setting.
  • Familiarity with the KS2 curriculum and phonics schemes is essential.

Join a dedicated team committed to the growth of SEN students, working closely with the SENCO and HLTAs to understand each student's needs.

Role Details:

  • PAYE rates: £85 - £90 per day
  • Weekly pay via school timesheets
  • Based in Stoke-on-Trent, easily accessible for local residents
  • Full-time hours: Monday to Friday
  • Immediate start available upon registration with Teaching Personnel.
