Are you on the lookout for a rewarding role in education? Do you have experience working with children aged 4-11?

Teaching Personnel is partnering with a Good-rated school in Telford to find a dedicated intervention assistant for an immediate start. This position involves 1:1 support for a student with additional SEN needs, focusing on behavior management within a classroom.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting students who require help with behavior management.
  • Conducting pastoral interventions for SEN and SEMH students.
  • Working alongside the school SENCO to develop behavior support strategies.
  • Ensuring all safeguarding measures are followed.
  • Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and phonics is a plus.

You’ll be part of a passionate team that prioritizes the development of SEN students, collaborating closely with the SENCO and HLTAs.

Role Information:

  • PAYE rates: £85 - £90 per day
  • Weekly payment through school timesheets
  • Located in Telford, convenient for local applicants
  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday
  • Immediate start following registration with Teaching Personnel.
