Teaching Personnel is currently collaborating with a supportive mainstream primary school located in Stoke-on-Trent. They are actively recruiting a KS1 Teaching Assistant to provide both classroom support and 1:1 assistance. In this role, you'll need a solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective behavior management strategies.

The school caters to a diverse group of mixed-ability pupils who are facing challenges in adapting to a mainstream classroom environment, requiring extra support from a Teaching Assistant. You'll be working closely with early years students on a 1:1 basis, providing additional support as needed and helping to manage behavior within the classroom.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience working 1:1 with students with additional needs.
  • Familiarity with the challenges faced by pupils new to a mainstream classroom setting.
  • Understanding of safeguarding protocols within a primary school.
  • Experience with KS1 students is essential.

About the Role:

  • PAYE rates: £85 - £90 per day
  • Weekly pay through school timesheets
  • Located in Stoke-on-Trent, easily accessible for local residents
  • Full-time position: Monday to Friday
  • Immediate start available following registration with Teaching Personnel.
