Do you have experience working with students aged 3-7 years? Are you ready to take the next step in your education career?

Teaching Personnel is seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Ofsted-rated Good school in Stoke-on-Trent. In this role, you'll provide essential support to several students within a classroom environment, focusing on various learning and behavioral needs.

The school has a number of mixed-ability pupils who are finding it challenging to adapt to a mainstream classroom setting and require additional support. You will work closely with the school SENCO and classroom teacher to create progress reports, helping to identify students who are making strides in their learning.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience working 1:1 with students with additional needs.
  • Familiarity with the challenges faced by pupils in a mainstream classroom.
  • Understanding of safeguarding practices within primary education.
  • Previous experience with early years students.

About the Role:

  • PAYE rates: £85 - £90 per day
  • Weekly pay via school timesheets
  • Located in Stoke-on-Trent, easily accessible for local residents
  • Full-time hours: Monday to Friday
  • Immediate start available upon registration with Teaching Personnel.
