Are you experienced in working with students aged 3-7 years? Looking to advance your career in education?

Teaching Personnel is currently searching for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing Ofsted-rated Good school in Macclesfield. In this role, you'll support several students in a classroom setting, focusing on a variety of learning and behavioral needs.

The school has mixed-ability pupils who are struggling to adjust to a mainstream classroom environment, necessitating additional support. You’ll collaborate closely with the school SENCO and classroom teacher to prepare progress reports that help track student development.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience providing 1:1 support for students with additional needs.
  • Understanding the challenges faced by pupils in a mainstream classroom.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies within primary schools.
  • Experience working with early years students is essential.

About the Role:

  • PAYE rates: £85 - £90 per day
  • Weekly payment through school timesheets
  • Conveniently located in Macclesfield, accessible for local applicants
  • Full-time position: Monday to Friday
  • Immediate start following registration with Teaching Personnel.
