Location: Primary School, Oxfordshire

Are you passionate about making a difference in a child's education? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a primary school student with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Oxfordshire.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide tailored support to a child with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and develop essential skills.

- Collaborate closely with the class teacher to implement individualized learning plans and adapt resources as needed.

- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment for the student and promote their independence.

- Support the wider classroom, assisting other students and contributing to a positive learning atmosphere.

- Monitor and report on the student’s progress, maintaining clear communication with the class teacher and parents.

Requirements:

- Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN, is desirable.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting learning.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
