Education and Training

£85 - £95 Per day

  • Supporting classroom activities and assisting the teacher in delivering lessons
  • Helping students with their learning and providing additional support when needed
  • Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and resources
  • Supervising students during lessons and other school activities
  • Supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification or willingness to work towards one

Secondary education with GCSEs in English and Maths

Prior experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and understanding towards students
  • Basic knowledge of educational principles and practises
  • Higher level teaching assistant qualification
  • First aid training

This role involves working within a school environment, supporting teachers and students during school hours. The candidate may need to assist with activities outside of the classroom and adapt to the school's schedule and requirements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
