  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities
  • Support individual students with their learning and development
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Prepare and organise educational materials and resources
  • Supervise students during class and break times
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification

Further education or training in education-related field

Previous experience working in a school or educational setting

  • Understanding of child development and learning processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills
  • First Aid certification
  • Additional training in special educational needs (SEN)

This role involves working in a classroom setting within a school environment. The teaching assistant may need to assist with student personal care and behaviour management. The work hours are typically aligned with school hours, with occasional additional time required for planning and meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
