A Haringey primary school is seeking a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one-on-one support to a Year 5 pupil with autism. This SEN Teaching Assistant will work in a supportive school environment, utilising autism-friendly methods and sensory resources to help the student thrive.

Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Providing individual and group support tailored to the student's specific learning needs.
• Assisting with classroom routines to create a predictable learning environment.
• Helping the classroom teacher adapt lessons to make them accessible for the student.
• Implementing a structured, autism-friendly approach to behaviour management.
• Communicating progress and observations to parents and staff.
