Teaching Personnel Birmingham are seeking a teaching assistant who can work in one of our close partner schools in the Solihull area of Birmingham. This position would be on a full time basis and would be for an ASAP start.
Pay Rate: £85-95 (per day)
Required Qualifications
- GCSEs in English and Maths
- Previous experience working as a TA/LSA in a school or educational setting
- Experience supporting/working with people with special educational needs
- Have an awareness of ECHPs (Desired but not essential)
Job Role
- Support the class teacher with the delivery of lessons/learning activities
- Work closely with small groups and 1:1 interventions for those most needing it within the class
- Support students with SEN and SEMH needs by providing specialised support designed to help each individual
- Collaborate with the class teacher and wider school community to create a safe and positive learning environment
- Use own initiative and be confident in stepping in for class teacher where required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
