Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor

Cover supervisor/Teaching Assistant:
We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant to join our team in one of our amazing secondary schools based near Redditch. The role involves supervising students in the absence of their regular teachers, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment. This role is flexible for full or part time work.
Duties:
- Communicate effectively with students and staff members
- Educate and mentor students during teacher absences
- Provide tutoring or additional support where needed
- Utilise creative writing skills to engage students in learning activities
- Work with individuals with special education needs, including those with autism
What is needed:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Ability to tutor and support students academically
- Strong communication skills to interact with students and colleagues effectively
