Teaching Assistant-Level 3 New

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Consett. You will support teachers in the classroom, work with small groups or individual students, and help create a positive learning environment for all pupils.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
• Supporting students’ learning, especially those needing extra help.
• Providing one-on-one and group support as needed.
• Helping to monitor student progress and behaviour.
• Contributing to a safe and positive school environment.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a school setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for helping children succeed.
• Knowledge of safeguarding policies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
