Technology Teacher – Middleton Secondary School (Full-Time, October Half-Term Start)

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Technology Teacher for a full-time position at a secondary school in Middleton, starting after October half-term. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to join a dedicated department and inspire students in various technology subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 in subjects such as Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Product Design.
  • Plan and prepare creative and practical lessons that develop students' skills in design, construction, and technology.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing feedback to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Maintain a safe and effective learning environment, ensuring students understand health and safety practices in a workshop setting.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification in Technology.
  • Experience teaching Technology at secondary school level, with a passion for hands-on learning.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to inspiring students to succeed and develop practical skills.
