We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Temporary Caretaker to join our charming preparatory school in Kingston Upon Thames. The role involves maintaining school facilities to the highest standard, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and assisting staff with daily operations and event setups. The ideal candidate will have experience in caretaking or maintenance and be ready to take on varied tasks to keep the school running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct general repairs, maintenance, and basic DIY tasks.
• Ensure all school buildings and grounds are clean and safe.
• Assist with setting up for events, school functions, and daily operations.
• Perform routine safety checks and report issues promptly.
• Monitor school security and ensure all safety measures are in place.

Requirements:

• Previous caretaking or maintenance experience is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must hold a current enhanced DBS certificate for working in an education setting.
