Education and Training

£12.85 - £14.00 Per hour

  • Assist the lead teacher in preparing and delivering lessons
  • Support students with their learning activities and provide additional help when needed
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist in the supervision of students during class and break times
  • Help with administrative tasks related to teaching and learning
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Basic IT skills

A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

No prior experience required, but any relevant experience in a school or educational setting would be beneficial

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with students
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

This role involves working in a school environment, following the school term calendar. The work may require standing for long periods and assisting students with various tasks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
