Face to Face Tuition Available

Teaching Personnel Tuition Service is looking for tutors in Surrey to work with students who are out of education. Tuition will most likely be based in the student’s family or foster home, or a local library.

Examples of the most recent referrals we have received include:

  • A year 11 male student with severe Anxiety, ADHD & ASD
  • A male student in year 13 who has social/communication difficulties & complex mental health
  • A male student in year 7 who has ASD and Dyslexia

Most tuition referrals are between 1 and 5 hours per day, and are between 2 and 5 days per week. The exact timings for tuition can be flexible, although it usually needs to be within school hours. You will be required to tutor both maths and English - most commonly we are asked for 2 hours per day (one hour for maths and one hour for English).

  • £25/£30 hour pay rate – we are a PAYE company (no umbrella company)
  • A student profile will be provided in advance before you begin tuition
  • You have freedom to choose the structure of your sessions, and to choose which topics you would like to deliver and in what order, provided you are following the National Curriculum

It would be beneficial if you can travel to the Guildford, Leatherhead, Godalming and Redhill areas as this is where we get most of our referrals for tuition.

Please contact Zoe by sending your CV to start the registration process today.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
