Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide specialist support to Key Stage 3 (KS3) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in English and Maths
  • Create individualised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to different learning styles
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialist knowledge in SEN education
  • Experience working with KS3 students in English and Maths

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily in a learners home
  • Full-time hours with potential for additional responsibilities
  • Interact with students, parents, and other education professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
