Position: Tutor for SEMH Settings
Location: Residential Settings and Pupils' Homes
Hours: 2-5 hours per day, Flexible Days
Rate: £25 - £35 per hour (dependent on skills and experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated tutors to work with students in SEMH settings, providing personalized support either in residential environments or in the pupils' homes. This role is perfect for individuals who are flexible and adaptable, with a genuine desire to support students with a range of SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to each student's individual learning needs.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles and support students’ academic and emotional growth.
  • Work closely with residential care staff, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting tutoring methods as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere that promotes student confidence and engagement.

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in education, special needs, or a related field.
