  • Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to students
  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions
  • Assist with the preparation of lesson materials and resources
  • Assess and evaluate student progress
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • A passion for teaching and helping students succeed
  • Strong maths skills and knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles

Minimum of GCSE Maths qualification or equivalent

No formal teaching qualification required; experience in tutoring or mentoring preferred

  • Deep understanding of mathematical concepts and principles
  • Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Organisational skills to plan lessons effectively
  • Patience and empathy when working with students
  • Previous experience in a teaching or tutoring role
  • Additional qualifications in education or related field

Work in a school or educational setting, with regular daytime hours. May involve some evening or weekend work for tutoring sessions or extra-curricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
