Are you enthusiastic about education and eager to gain classroom experience? Do you possess strong skills in managing and engaging with students?

 

Teaching Personnel is offering an exciting opportunity for and unqualified teacher/experienced Teaching Assistant to join our secondary schools in Newport.

As a Cover Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be overseeing classes when the regular teacher is absent, keeping students focused on their assignments, and fostering a positive and effective learning atmosphere.

 

Location: Newport

Hours: Flexible

Pay: £100 minimum

Start Date: ASAP

 

The ideal candidate will:

-          Possess a genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting young people in their learning journey.

-          Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills.

-          Adjust approaches and strategies based on the specific needs of different classroom environments.

-          Ensure student behaviour is in line with school policies.

-          Deliver pre-prepared lessons and follow provided lesson plans.

 

Requirements:

-          While no formal teaching qualifications are required, we prioritise educators who display a high level of enthusiasm, dedication, and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.

-          EWC registration (or willingness to apply)

-          Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS) (or willingness to apply)
