Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting unqualified teachers/experienced or confident Teaching Assistants to join our educational team for Secondary Schools in Newport.  As a cover supervisor, main duties will include supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain engaged with their tasks, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

 

The position of an Unqualified Teacher/Cover Supervisor is ideally suited for graduates, upcoming graduates, PGCE candidates, or Teaching Assistants seeking to advance their careers. This provides an opportunity for flexible supply work in the classroom, allowing you to develop your teaching skills and gain valuable experience.

 

A successful candidate will:

-          Deliver pre-planned lessons set by the absent teacher.

-          Tailor methods and strategies to meet the specific requirements of various schools and classroom settings.

-          Genuine passion for education and a true commitment to supporting students with their learning journey.

-          A confident individual, who possess strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

-          Excellent communication and organisational skills

 

Requirements:

-          While no formal teaching qualifications are required, we prioritise educators who display a high level of enthusiasm, dedication, and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.

-          EWC registration and Enhanced Child DBS (Teaching Personnel can help you with this)
