About Us:
At Teaching Personnel, we are looking for confident Teaching Assistants to join our team and work in schools across North Bristol & South Gloucestershire. We work very closely with schools that are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for their students. No formal qualifications are required, but experience working with children is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Support individual students or small groups to enhance learning and understanding.
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist with classroom management and ensure student safety.
• Prepare educational materials and resources as needed.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in supporting student learning.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• A flexible and proactive approach to tasks.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £38, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
