Teaching Personnel are working with a college in Gosport who are seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of Level 1 and Vocational Studies to join their team on a part-time basis, covering 20 hours per week. This role is to start as soon as possible, supporting students across a range of disciplines including Sport, Public Service, Health & Social Care, IT/Digital Media, and Construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and tailored lessons across the vocational disciplines of Sport, Public Service, Health & Social Care, IT/Digital Media, and Construction.
  • Create a supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to succeed.
  • Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to help them achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Support students with diverse learning needs, ensuring individual learning plans are implemented effectively.

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A relevant teaching qualification or experience in delivering vocational studies at Level 1.
  • A strong understanding of the subjects listed (Sport, Public Service, Health & Social Care, IT/Digital Media, and Construction).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to motivate and inspire students with varied learning needs.
  • A flexible and proactive approach, with a willingness to go above and beyond for student success.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to the college’s vision of providing exceptional learning opportunities for all.
