Specialist SEN Teacher Opportunity – Bradford Area

We are partnering with a client school in the Bradford area that has an exciting opportunity for a Specialist SEN Teacher to provide one-to-one support to a Key Stage 2 pupil. This position is available for an immediate start and will continue until Christmas, with the possibility of extension beyond this period.

The Role:

As a Specialist SEN Teacher, you will have the primary responsibility for delivering the sensory curriculum to a pupil with Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN) and challenging behaviour. You will work closely with the class teacher, who will provide support and collaborate with you on planning and developing resources tailored to the pupil’s needs.

The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent qualification, and will need to demonstrate recent, referenceable teaching experience. While this role is aimed at qualified teachers, the school is also open to applications from Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) who have relevant experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
