Position: Welsh Speaking Primary School Teacher

Location: Pontypridd, Wales

Flexible working - Part-Time or Full-Time basis

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Welsh speaking Supply Teacher to join our team, providing essential cover for primary schools across Pontypridd. This flexible role allows you to work on a part-time or full-time basis, making it ideal for individuals seeking a work-life balance or those looking to gain experience in different school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to primary school students, covering all age groups from Foundation Phase to Key Stage 2.
  • Adapt to various school environments and work collaboratively with permanent staff to ensure continuity in pupils' education.
  • Create and implement engaging lesson plans in line with the Welsh curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Maintain strong classroom management and adhere to school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Welsh (spoken and written) is essential.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience in primary education.
  • Strong understanding of the Welsh curriculum and educational standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching environments and pupil needs.
  • Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one with our help).
