Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Sector: Welsh Secondary
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30-15:30
Pay: Minimum £12.90 per hour
Start date: ASAP
Here at Teaching Personnel, we work with partnership schools across Newport who are seeking Welsh speaking Teaching Assistants to join their team. The successful candidate will be driven and passionate about the education sector and will demonstrate their resilience whilst supporting pupils and teaching staff to contribute to the overall positive learning environment. Experience in a school is not required – you will learn everything you need to know.

Experience:
Although experience is preferred, it is not necessary as you will learn everything you need to know on the job. As a Teaching Assistant working through Teaching Personnel, you will receive a Level 2 Child Safeguarding qualification before you start, and many more CPD opportunities once in the school! There are many courses available including: Team Teach behaviour management course, Autism Awareness, An Introduction to the Thrive Approach and The Complete SEND Diploma.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
