Teaching Personnel is on the lookout for a motivated and enthusiastic Welsh-speaking individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in local secondary schools. No prior experience? No problem – we’ll provide all the training you need on the job! The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and committed to supporting students and staff, helping to create a positive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow the school’s safeguarding policies to maintain a safe environment for all students.
• Create a supportive and positive learning atmosphere that encourages student development.
• Adapt to the diverse needs of pupils with flexibility and responsiveness.
• Assist teachers and school staff with daily responsibilities and educational activities.
• Build and maintain trusting relationships with students and their families, providing emotional and social support as needed.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will receive a free Level 2 Child Safeguarding qualification through Teaching Personnel before starting. Additionally, you’ll have access to various professional development opportunities either for free or at a significantly reduced cost!

Job Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate (we will assist you in obtaining this)
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• Two professional references covering the past 24 months
• Level 2 Safeguarding (provided by Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
