Education and Training

£140 - £210 Per day

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 and 6 pupil
  • Assess and evaluate pupils' progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support pupil development
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and other school events
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 and 6)

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting

  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Specialist training in a relevant area (e.g., SENCO, EAL)

You will be working in a primary school setting, following the school's academic calendar and timetable. This role may involve occasional extracurricular activities and parent meetings outside regular school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
