Year 1 Early Career Teacher

Smile Education are delighted to be working alongside a vibrant and forward-thinking primary school in south Birmingham. We are currently seeking a Year 1 Early Career Teacher to join the team from September 2024.
We are currently seeking a Year 1 Early Career Teacher to join this friendly team from September 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be carrying out all usual roles and responsibilities associated with a class teaching position, including marking and planning. ECT’s are encouraged to apply due to systems already being in place to support the successful applicant through their induction terms.
This is a fabulous opportunity to join a thriving primary school at the heart of it’s local community. The school is located in south Birmingham, within proximity to Balsall Heath, Sparkhill, and Small Heath. The expected salary range for this position is between £150-220 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ECT’s are encouraged to apply as there are already system in place to support through induction terms. However, more experienced teachers are also encouraged to apply as pathways are already in place to support career growth and development.
