Year 1 Teacher

Smile Education are thrilled to be working alongside a thriving school in the Dudley area. We are currently seeking a Year 1 Teacher to join the team from September 2024.
We are currently seeking a Year 1 Class Teacher to join this vibrant team from September 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be supporting pupils working towards phonics screening checks, as such a confident approach to phonics teaching and learning is essential. You will have support within the classroom form a whole class teaching assistant and work within a supportive wider team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a primary school at the heart of it’s local community. The school is located in Dudley, within proximity to Netherton, Dixons Green and Russells Hall. The expected salary for this position is between £110- 150 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Both Early Career Teachers and experienced Class Teachers are encouraged to apply. For any ECT’s looking to complete their induction terms, this can be supported within school.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)- both ECT’s and experienced Class Teachers are encouraged to apply.
• Available to work on a full-time basis, Monday- Friday
• Confident in delivering phonics and supporting pupils working towards phonics screening checks.
