Education and Training

£160 - £220 Per day

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons for Year 1 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents/guardians
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a supportive learning environment

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with Year 1 students

  • Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficient in using educational technology in the classroom
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience with phonics teaching and early literacy development

Work in a school environment, follow school policies and procedures, work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members, participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
