Job Title: Year 2 Teacher

Are you passionate about educating young minds and shaping the future generation? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join our client, located in NG5. As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the academic and personal development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that adhere to the curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
  • Assess students' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and share best practices.
  • Establish effective communication channels with parents/guardians to keep them informed about their child's academic progress and well-being.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with Key Stage 1 students, preferably in Year 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
