Smile Education are delighted to be working alongside a vibrant primary located in north Birmingham. We are currently seeking a Year 2 Teacher to join the team from May 2024.

We are currently seeking a Year 2 Class Teacher to join this friendly team from May 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicants will be carrying out all usual roles and responsibilities associated with a Class Teaching position, including marking and planning. This role is ideal for both experienced Class Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECT’s). Any ECT’s wishing to complete their induction terms will be supported through this role and have access to a mentor.

This is a fantastic role within a supportive setting. The school is located in south Birmingham, within proximity to Washwood Heath, Ward End, and Hodgehill. The expected salary range for this role is between £140- 190 per day, depending on experience level.

What to expect from applicants?

We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Both experienced class teachers and ECT’s are encouraged to apply.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

-        Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


-        Confident in teaching Year 2 curriculum, including supporting pupils in the build up to SATs


-        Be comfortable in differentiating work to allow pupils to access curriculum at their own level
