School: A large Primary school in Kirkby
Contract: Part-time, 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) 
Start Date: 2nd September - April 2025

The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join our dynamic team. As a key stage 1 educator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our young learners, helping them build a strong foundation for their future academic success. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all students.
  • Create a stimulating and safe learning environment where children feel valued and motivated.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to ensure all children make excellent progress.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's curriculum and policies.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
  • Passionate about education and dedicated to making a positive impact on students' lives.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for learning.
  • Committed to creating an inclusive classroom where every child can succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
