Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: M1 - M6

As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in developing and nurturing young minds. You will be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment, planning and delivering exciting lessons, and fostering a love of learning in your students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure continuous improvement
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child's educational journey
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum and innovative teaching practices

About You:

The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher (QTS) with a strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum. You will be an excellent communicator with a passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching Year 2 or Key Stage 1
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong organisational and planning abilities
• A commitment to continuous professional development

Desirable:

• Experience in creating and implementing innovative teaching strategies
• Knowledge of educational technology and its application in the classroom
