Year 2 Teaching Assistant

Smile Education are delighted to be working alongside a busy primary school located in the Oldbury area. We are currently seeking a Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join the team from September 2024.
We are currently seeking a Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join this vibrant team from September 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be supporting pupils across the whole classroom, in addition to providing more targeted intervention support on a small group and 1:1 basis. You will be supporting pupils working towards KS1 SATs with a primary focus on maths.
This is a fabulous opportunity to join a busy and supportive team. The school is based in Oldbury within proximity to Dudley town centre and Dixons Green. The expected salary range for the role is between £9.64-£15.08 per hour, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold a relevant TA qualification, such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning. Applicants should be confident in supporting pupils with SEND and providing small group intervention works.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning.
• Available to work on a full-time basis from Monday- Friday
• Dedicated to delivering the very best to pupils through comprehensive learning support
