Year 2 Teaching Assistant

Smile Education are delighted to be working alongside a thriving school based in the Smethwick area. We are currently seeking a Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join the team as soon as possible.
We are currently seeking a Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join this vibrant team as soon as possible on an ongoing basis. The successful applicant will be supporting pupils in Year 2 on a whole class basis, providing support to pupils of mixed abilities and ensuring pupils are on task and engaged with learning materials. There may also be aspects of some small group intervention work with pupils to help them fully grasp key areas of the curriculum.
This is a fabulous role offering the chance to join a thriving primary school at the heart of its local community. The school is located in the Smethwick area, within proximity to Bearwood, Warley and Rotton Park. The expected salary range for this role is between £9.64- £15.08 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold a relevant TA qualification, for example Supporting Teaching and Learning. Applicants should be confident in supporting pupils of mixed ability, including some pupils performing below ARE.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning.
• Available to work on a full-time basis from Monday- Friday
• Dedicated to delivering the very best to pupils through comprehensive learning support
