Smile Education are delighted to be working alongside a vibrant primary school located in South Birmingham. We are currently seeking a Year 3 Early Career Teacher to join this welcoming team from September 2024.
We are currently seeking a Year 3 Early Career Teacher to join this thriving primary school from September 2024 until the end of the 2024/25 academic year. The successful applicant will be completing all usual role and responsibilities associated with a class teaching position, including marking and planning. Systems are already in place to support Early Career Teachers through their induction terms, including access to a mentor. Pathways are also in place to promote clear career progression, including pathways into middle leadership.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an establish primary at the heart of it’s local community. The school is located within proximity to Acocks Green, Springfield, Sparkhill and Birmingham City Centre. The expected salary range for this role is between £140-£220 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply due to systems being in place to support through induction terms. However, experienced teachers seeking clear career progression are also encouraged to apply.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Confident in supporting pupils performing significantly below ARE, following on from KS1 SATs
  • Available for the entire academic year to provide stability for pupils
