An Ofsted rated GOOD primary school in Belvedere, South East London is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 3 Classroom Teacher to join their staffing from October 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 3 students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure all pupils reach their academic goals.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and encourages student participation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development and well-being.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven UK experience teaching at the primary level, preferably with Year 3 or lower KS2 students.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate young learners.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the school’s ongoing development.

Desirable:

  • Experience in using technology to enhance learning and engagement in the classroom.
  • Additional qualifications or training in areas such as SEN, EAL, or safeguarding.
  • A proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to engage in continuous learning.
