Smile Education are thrilled to be working alongside a forward-thinking primary school located in East Birmingham. We are currently seeking a Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join the team from September 2024.
We are currently seeking a Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join the team from September 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be supporting across the whole classroom, ensuring pupils are on task and engaged with lesson materials. There will be some elements of small group work required, particularly supporting any pupils performing below ARE after KS1 SATs.
This is a fabulous opportunity to join a busy and supportive primary team, offering long-term job stability. The school is located in East Birmingham, within proximity to Bordesley Green, Small Heath and Birmingham City Centre. The expected salary range for this role is between £80-90 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification, such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning. Applicants should be confident in supporting pupils in lower KS2 and should be able to deliver small group intervention work effectively.
