Teaching Personnel are currently working with a fantastic primary school based in Hackney. This school is seeking an empathetic and experienced year four teacher to join their team from september. This would be a full time position until the end of the academic year but has the potential to turn into a full time position. 

As a Year 4 Teacher, your primary responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging lessons to students in line with the Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum. You will be expected to effectively manage classroom behaviour, provide individual support to students with special educational needs (SEN), and assess and mark students' work to track progress and provide feedback accordingly. This would be a full scale role meaning you would be expected to undertake all normal teacher activities. 

- To be considered for this role, you must hold a valid UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) qualification. 

- Must have a UK address and right to work 

- Must have strong knowledge of the UK curriculum 

- Experience working in KS1 or KS2 

 

A degree in Education or a related field is required.

Prior experience teaching in a primary school setting, specifically with Year 4 students, is preferred.

  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour
  • Familiarity with the Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum
  • Experience in teaching students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Additional certifications in specific areas of education or behavioural management are desirable.

This is a temporary position located in Hackney, Greater London, England. The role is expected to be full-time with a daily salary ranging from £135.00 to £185.00 on a PAYE basis.
