About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to make a significant impact on students' learning and development. As a Year 4 Teacher on the M3 payscale, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting each child's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 4 students.
  • Assess, track, and report on students' progress and attainment.
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and engagement.
  • Support the social, emotional, and academic development of all pupils.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Uphold the school’s policies, procedures, and values, contributing to the overall ethos of the school.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning in a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Year 4 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
