Teaching Personnel is excited to invite applications for a passionate and experienced Year 4 Teacher in the vibrant heart of Newport. We are seeking an enthusiastic educator who can inspire and engage our KS2 pupils daily, helping to lay the foundation for their academic success in line with the Welsh Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective Behaviour Management: Implement strong behaviour management strategies and demonstrate understanding of Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
  • Create a Positive Environment: Maintain a safe and inspiring learning atmosphere for all students.

What We’re Looking For:

  • DBS Clearance: A valid Child-only DBS certificate registered on the Update System.
  • EWC Registration: Current registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
  • Qualified Teacher Status: Must hold QTS.
  • Professional References: Two references from previous teaching roles.

Position Details:

  • Job Title: Year 4 Teacher
  • Location: Newport, NP19
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, plus 2 additional hours weekly for school meetings.
  • Salary: Starting at £157.66 per day
  • Start Date: January 2025 (Maternity Cover)
