Job Title: Full-Time Year 5 Teacher

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our dynamic team in Wellingborough. As a key member of our teaching staff, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experience of our students, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Delivery:

   • Design and implement effective lesson plans in accordance with the national curriculum, ensuring a stimulating and inclusive learning experience.
   • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and provide appropriate challenges for all abilities.

2. Assessment and Feedback:

   • Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
   • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues to support continuous improvement.

3. Classroom Management:

   • Foster a positive and supportive classroom culture that encourages student participation, collaboration, and respect.
   • Implement effective behavior management strategies to create a conducive learning environment.

4. Professional Development:

   • Stay updated on educational best practices, curriculum developments, and teaching methodologies.
   • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the school's continuous improvement.

5. Parent and Community Engagement:

   • Establish and maintain open communication with parents through regular meetings, newsletters, and other communication channels.
   • Collaborate with colleagues and actively participate in school events to promote a sense of community and involvement.

6. Team Collaboration:

   • Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, support staff, and leadership to contribute to a positive and cohesive school culture.
   • Attend team meetings, contribute insights, and actively engage in collaborative planning sessions.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant teaching degree.
• Proven experience as a Year 5 Teacher, demonstrating successful student outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
