Smile Education are thrilled to be working alongside a dynamic primary school based in south Birmingham. We are currently seeking a Year 5 Class Teacher to join the team from September 2024.

We are currently seeking a Year 5 Class Teacher to join this lovely team from September 2024 through to the end of the 2024/25 academic year. The successful applicant will be carrying out all usual roles and responsibilities associated with a Class Teaching position, including marking and planning. We encourage any Early Career Teachers to apply as system are in place to support ECT’s through their induction terms.

This is a fantastic role, with opportunities for career growth and progression into middle leadership. The school is based in south Birmingham, within proximity to Balsall Heath, High Gate, Moseley and great public transport routes to and from the City Centre. The expected salary range for the role is between £140- 190 per day, depending on experience.

What to expect from applicants?

We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply as system are already in place to support ECT’s through induction terms with access to an ECT mentor. However, experienced Class Teachers are also encouraged to apply, particularly those wishing for career progression into middle leadership.
