  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Year 6 children
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress to ensure achievement of learning objectives
  • Provide feedback to childrens, parents, and school leaders on student performance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and positive learning environment
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment procedures
  • Strong behaviour management skills

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent
  • Specialist training in literacy or numeracy
  • Work in a classroom environment with Year 6 pupils
  • Full-time position with regular school hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
