Education and Training

£145 - £215 Per day

  • Plan and deliver lessons to Year 6 children in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to pupils and parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support pupil development
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum for Key Stage 2

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Previous experience teaching Year 6 children is desirable

  • Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all children
  • Organisational and time-management skills
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Specialist training in literacy or numeracy

The role involves working in a classroom setting within a primary school. Regular working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional evening or weekend commitments for school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
