Smile Education are delighted to be working alongside a forward-thinking primary school in east Birmingham. We are currently seeking a Year 6 Teacher to join the team from September 2024.
We are currently seeking a Year 6 Teacher to join this vibrant team from September 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be carrying out all usual roles and responsibilities associated with a class teaching position, including marking and planning. There will be a primary focus towards preparing pupils for Year 6 SATs, working closely with TA’s to ensure robust support and intervention is in place where necessary.
This is an exciting chance to join a thriving primary school! The school is located within proximity to Shard End, Hodgehill, Ward End and Birmingham City Centre. The expected salary range for this position is from £150- 210 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). There is a primary focus on support pupils working towards KS2 SATs, prior experience of supporting pupils at this academic milestone is desirable but not essential. Applicants should have strong subject knowledge of upper KS2 national curriculum.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
