Smile Education are delighted to be working alongside a thriving primary school located in the Smethwick area. We are currently seeking a Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join the team from September 2024 on an ongoing basis.
We are currently seeking a Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join this friendly team from September 2024 on an ongoing basis. The successful applicant will be supporting pupils in a Year 6 classroom, providing whole class support in addition to taking on their intervention groups. Pupil will be working towards KS2 SATs, as such applicants should be confident in supporting pupils of mixed abilities in accessing key areas of curriculum.

The school is located in Smethwick within proximity to West Smethwick, Bearwood, and Langley Green. The expected salary range for this position in from £9.64- £15.08 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, such as Supporting Teaching and Learning. Applicants should be confident in supporting pupils accessing upper KS2 curriculum, including supporting intervention working on key areas of curriculum.
