Year 7 Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate KS3 Teaching Assistant to join the dynamic team at a client secondary school in Stretford. The successful candidate will work closely with Year 7 students to support their reading skills and foster a love for literature.
Responsibilities include collaborating with the English department to create engaging reading programs, providing individualized support to students, assisting in the organization of the school library, contributing to literacy events, and monitoring students’ progress in reading.
The school is based in the heart of Stretford, and boasts an onsite car park for members of staff with a vehicle, but is also very accessible via public transport, being a short walk away from a local tram stop.
This position will start in September 2024, and depending on how the successful candidate gets on in the role, may be extended until the end of the academic year (July 2025).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
